Fort Arnold

US Military Academy, West Point, NY

See the website:
Situated at the northeast corner of The Plain, West Point's parade ground, are the ramparts of the original Revolutionary War fortification called Fort Arnold in honer of Gen. Benedict Arnold. After his treason, the name was changed to Fort Clinton, to honor another American general. The walls are located below the monument to Thaddeus Kosciuszko, the Polish patriot who helped to design the fortifications of West Point.

Facing the monument, walk to the right and then double back on the road below the monument to find the plaque set into the old wall.
