King's Ferry, east shore of the Hudson

Riverview Ave at end of Broadway, Verplanck Point, Cortlandt, NY

This park offers a wonderful view of the Hudson River, and looks across to Stony Point. During the Revolution, the eastern terminus of King's Ferry was moved to this location, to be under the protection of nearby Fort Lafayette. Prior to the war the ferry docked at the Post Hannock House, just south of Verplanck's Point.

Andre and Smith came ashore here to continue their journey.
